Unfortunately, our current Managing Editor, Teo Quay, is leaving us to return to Canada after a very productive and happy time with our groups.

A new Managing Editor has been appointed for the Cochrane Anaesthesia and Cochrane Emergency and Critical Care groups. Vernon Hedge is taking over from Teo during October and November 2020. Vernon’s clinical experience includes emergency nursing as a Registered Nurse in the UK. His academic background involves biology, social statistics and psychology. He has copy editing experience assisting in grant proposals, PhD and MSc theses, and peer reviewed articles and has written advice articles for a health website. Vernon will be based in Denmark at the Herlev Anaesthesia Critical and Emergency Care Science Unit at Herlev Hospital.
